Art+Object’s second rare book auction of the year will be held in late August. It is a mixed vendor sale and is a varied collection of rare and interesting books, including further photographs from the Keam collection to include some rare images by John Blythe, Josiah Martin, Elizabeth Pulman and George Valentine; a number of scarce first edition Antarctic books by Roald Amundsen, C.E. Borchgrevink, R.N. Rudmose Brown, Robert Falcon Scott and E.H. Shackleton; a collection of automobile books relating to Ferarri, Maserati and other luxury sports cars; a fine selection of early 20th century illustrated gift books by Edmund Dulac, Arthur Rackham, Willy Pogany and other well known illustrators including a first edition of ‘The Magic Pudding’ by Norman Lindsay in dust jacket.
