Another View: The Michael Seresin Collection of International Black and White Photography
Michael Seresin is well known in New Zealand as a winemaker and internationally as a major motion picture cinematographer. He has also for a number of decades been a collector of early 20th century photography. A+O was honoured to have been chosen to offer his collection and to be able to exhibit works rare to NZ audiences by photographers such as Eugene Atget, Andre Kertez, Brassai and Bill Brandt. A+O contrasted Seresin's world class collection with an offering of contemporary works by Yvonne Todd, Boyd Webb, Bill Culbert, Anne Noble and Marti Friedlander - in total well over 100 years of photographic practice.
