The second issue of A+O's annual magazine focusses on New Zealand artists and curators making their mark internationally. The magazine is designed to celebrate the growing global voice of our visual arts culture and features interviews with 2012 Walters Prize winner Kate Newby in New York, Francis Upritchard in London and former director of ARTSPACE Tobias Berger in Hong Kong. A+O also caught up with Simon Denny to discuss his 2015 Venice Biennale installation Secret Power. Content also journeys to Clandon Park in Surrey to explore the context of the venerable carved whare Hinemihi whose history is inextricably linked to some of the most dramatic events of 19th century Aotearoa.
