Important Paintings and Sculpture inc. The Odyssey Group Collection

The magnificent Michael Smither work on the cover was a hint of the riches within A+O's April 2009 Important Paintings Catalogue. This catalogue was also the feature of a very well attended Wellington viewing. The heart of the catalogue was the entire collection of the Odyssey Group a buying and collecting group who assembled impressive works by Michael Parekowhai, Peter Robinson, John Pule and Stanley Palmer, major works by Terry Stringer, Julian Dashper, John Pule, Jude Rae and Shane Cotton sold well. One of the highlights was an extremely rare Edward Bullmore AstroForm relief work from the mid 1960s.
