Art+Object is pleased to sign off on the year with a successful final auction of Important Paintings and Contemporary Art, it was exceedingly buoyant with new record prices achieved for the work of Richard Killeen, Max Gimblett and Robert Ellis, and strong prices for the work of Fiona Pardington, Frances Hodgkins, Peter Siddell, Karl Maughan, Stephen Bambury, Colin McCahon, Ralph Hotere, Ian Scott and Tony Fomison. The sale realised a total of $2 268 310, achieved under the hammer.
