The April 2012 Important Paintings & Contemporary Art catalogue featured some 50 works assembled over a decade by the buying collective The Times Group which focussed on New Zealand contemporary art. Other highlights were a new auction record for Michael Parekowhai's Atarangi sculpture and major works by Peter Stichbury, Don Binney, Judy Millar and Paul Dibble.
