A+O's first major art catalogue of 2013 resulted in the highest sale total for a mixed vendor auction in the company's history at $2.25 million. The catalogue featured a number of large scale and rare works including Gordon Walters Tautahi which set a new auction record for the artist at $439 680. Major work by Colin McCahon, Milan Mrkusich and Bill Hammond also sold for strong prices. A highlight was the superb selection of 5 works from the Gordon Walters Estate which were feature of the viewing. Works by Andrew McLeod, Pat Hanly, Paul Dibble, Tony Fomison and Michael Illingworth also sold well.
