Important Paintings + Sculpture

The final major art catalogue for 2008 was celebrated with A+O's first ever Wellington viewing - at the Chaffer's Gallery. This was a catalogue with a particularly strong sculpture component which is amply demonstrated in the gallery section. Major works by Terry Stringer, Rohan Wealleans, Michael Parekowhai and Paul Dibble sold extremely well as did works by Colin McCahon, Peter Robinson, Tom Kreisler and Milan Mrkusich whose rare 1950s work Still Life made a handsome cover.
