Rare Books

A very buoyant first book sale of the year with strong and spirited bidding throughout, the highest price achieved being $33,046 for a set of rare aquatints “Views in the South” by John Cleveley from Captain James Cook’s 3rd voyage (lot 178).
High prices were also achieved for the postcards, with Auckland photographic scenes particularly sought after.
