The Art+Object Masterpiece Auction
A+O's first Important Paintings catalogue included major works by Dick Frizzell, Gordon Walters, Bill Hammond, Allen Maddox, Michael Smither and Michael Illingworth. The undoubted highlight of the catalogue was our first $100 000 sale for Milan Mrkusich's large 1971 canvas Painting Dark III, which set an auction record for the artist.
