The Collection of the Late Ron Sang – Part II

Art+Object is delighted to report a sale total of $2 545 000 from our landmark auction yesterday afternoon. A packed saleroom, along with over 500 registered online bidders, combined to create a fervent atmosphere, seldom witnessed in today’s increasingly virtual auction environment. Of the 247 lots offered, 243 were sold under the hammer with many lots selling for seven or eight times their estimate and numerous new record prices being set for applied artists, painters, print-makers, sculptors and furniture designers.

Art+Object wishes to extend its gratitude to Ron’s wife and his family for opening their home up to the public and also to congratulate the successful buyers who ensured the enduring legacy of Ron Sang as one of the country’s foremost collectors and tastemakers will long continue.
