Last night's mid-winter auction Contemporary achieved a sale total of $961 000 under the hammer with solid bidding featuring throughout and a high clearance rate. Highest price of the evening went to Robin White's beautiful pencil drawing 'Self-Portrait with Harbour Cone' which realized $78 680, nearly double the top estimate.
