Art+Object are delighted to advise their first auction of Important Paintings & Contemporary Art was a very strong one. Recorded sales under the hammer were $1,532,730 with subject bids yet to be processed. Top sale of the evening went to Colin McCahon's I know that whatever you ask of God (illustrated) at $156 155 and numerous lots sold well in excess of their estimates. All but one lot from the Paint + Paper collection were sold.
