The first photography catalogue in July 2007 was like the 20th century design section a statement of intent. At this time dedicated photography catalogues were a rarity. Collectors came to the party as both vendors and buyers resulting in an excellent first up sale. Works by Jae Hoon Leen, Paul Hartigan, Â Ronnie van Hout, Ann Shelton, Gavin Hipkins, Theo Schoon, Ava Seymour, Fiona Pardington and Michael Parekowhai sold extremely well stimulating the market and giving the A+O team the impetus to make these popular sales an annual event.
