Art+Object is pleased to announce a current sale total of $1 786 800 realised from last night’s auction of Important Paintings and Contemporary Art, our final sale of this category for 2023. New record prices were set for the work of Rebecca Baumann ($45 084), Grace Wright ($27 416), Ann Robinson ($56 051) and E. Mervyn Taylor ($97 480) with further strong prices for the works of Michael Parekōwhai, Ayesha Green, Dave McCracken, Paul Dibble, Michael Illingworth, Tony Fomison and Colin McCahon.
