Modern Design/New Zealand and International Studio Pottery

The Modern Design section of the catalogue was notable for signature pieces by Bob Roukema, George Mulhauser, Kofed Larsen, Kai Kristiansen, Hans Wegner, and Curtis Jere which sold extremely well, as did lighting and exotic taxidermy - items for modern interiors. The Studio pottery section was one of the strongest to date, indicative of the momentum for works by Len Castle, Mirek Smisek, Lucie Rie and modernist applied arts by seldom seen names such as Anneke Boren.
