Art+Object to lend their support to The John Drawbridge Ambassadorial Scholarship

On the 12^th of November ART+OBJECT will conduct the fundraising auction for the newly-created John Drawbridge Ambassadorial Scholarship at the Massey University Creative Arts Building in Central Wellington. The scholarship, valued at $2,500, will support one Massey University College of Creative Arts student per year to experience art and life in an overseas country through the Student Exchange Programme.

The evening will include the presentation of the John Drawbridge Scholarship to this year's recipient and the screening of Aspiring*. Ian Fraser will be acting as MC and there will be a piano recital of Douglas Lilburn's music, as well as a reading of James K. Baxter's poetry. The evening will finish with the auction of two Brian Brake silver gelatin photographs (from his Picasso Series) and a small selection of John Drawbridge artworks. Tickets are $45 and numbers are limited to 140.
