Paris Collection becomes the highest grossing art auction in NZ history

Part Two of the Paris Collection took place in front of another healthy crowd of around 200 bidders last night. By the time the sale had finished at 9:00pm over 4.52 million dollars worth of art had changed hands making it the highest grossing art auction of all time in this country. 212 of 235 lots offered were sold amounting to a sell through rate of just over 90%, again unheard of in the New Zealand secondary art market.
