The directors and staff of Art+Object would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our clients, industry colleagues and friends for their support in 2021, another tumultuous and challenging year for us all. More than ever, we have deeply appreciated the support of the country’s art and cultural communities.
Despite Auckland spending nearly four months in an extended lockdown, 2021 has represented an unprecedented year for the New Zealand art market, at both primary and secondary market levels. The art market event of 2021 was unquestionably the record-setting sale of Peter Tatham and Adrian Burr’s phenomenal art collection. Again, we would like to extend our gratitude to the couple’s family, friends, colleagues, and to everyone who contributed to the success of this sale.
Art+Object will be closing tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday 21 December; however, Ben and Leigh are available until Christmas and will be contactable over the holiday break.
