Art+Object is pleased to report a sale total of $358 456, achieved under the hammer in last night’s auction of ‘Some Pictures I Wrote’: The Collection of Laurence Simmons. Top price of the evening fittingly went to Richard Killeen’s 3 Cultures (1979) at $30 175, closely followed by Colin McCahon’s 15 Drawings which made $29 570.
