Art+Object is delighted to report a sale total from Tuesday evening’s landmark auction and tribute to John Edgar of $545 200 achieved under the hammer, well in excess of forecast presale estimates. Of the 90 lots on offer, 86 sold under the hammer, three sold post-auction, and only one remains unsold. The evening represented a wonderful tribute to the life and work of an incredibly special man and the enthusiasm with which his work was met was extremely gratifying. Art+Object is incredibly grateful to have been involved and congratulates all of those fortunate enough to have secured a work last night.
